What FieldOps is
FieldOps is work software for contracting companies: scheduling, a technician app, invoicing, a customer page, and connections to tools the company already uses (GoHighLevel, QuickBooks Online, Stripe). A contracting company (the "Company") signs up and adds its own people. These terms apply to the Company and to everyone who uses FieldOps through it.
Your license
- We give the Company, and the people it adds, a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use FieldOps for the Company's own business while its subscription or pilot agreement is active.
- Please do not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or overload the service, try to reach another company's information, or use it for anything unlawful — including texting people who have not agreed to receive texts.
- Technicians' and customers' access comes through the Company. If the Company's access ends, theirs does too.
Your information stays yours
- The Company owns the information it puts into FieldOps (customers, jobs, photos, estimates, invoices, payments). We use it only to run the service for the Company, as described in the privacy policy.
- The Company can export its records at any time, and when the service ends we delete them within 90 days unless the law requires us to keep something longer.
- The Company is responsible for having the right to enter its customers' information and to contact them.
Connected services
When the Company connects GoHighLevel, QuickBooks Online or Stripe, FieldOps sends and receives information on the Company's behalf using the Company's own accounts. Those services have their own terms, which the Company accepts with them. The Company can disconnect any of them in Settings at any time; disconnecting stops new information flowing but does not delete what was already sent. FieldOps never sees full card numbers — cards are entered on the payment provider's own page.
Money and records
FieldOps calculates totals, tax and balances from the prices, tax rate and settings the Company enters. The Company remains responsible for its prices, tax treatment, invoices and books, and should check them — FieldOps flags differences it notices (for example when QuickBooks ends up with a different invoice total) but is not tax or accounting advice.
Availability and changes
We work to keep FieldOps available and secure, and we improve it over time. Occasionally features change; we will tell Company admins in advance about any change that takes something important away. Location sharing in the technician app works only while a shift is on and the app is open, as the app explains.
Warranty and liability
FieldOps is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount the Company paid us for FieldOps in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
The Company can stop using FieldOps at any time. We may suspend access that breaks these terms or puts other companies at risk, and will tell the Company why. Sections about information ownership, liability and deletion continue after the service ends.
